Bank Albilad

Bank Albilad, a Shariah-compliant bank founded in 2004 and based in Riyadh, operates 108 branches with 4,636 employees. As of December 2023, it held $38.2B in assets and earned $631.7M in net profit. Despite its strong financials, the website feels outdated as cluttered layout and complex navigation limit user experience. A cleaner, more accessible design would better reflect the bank’s innovative edge.

The Challenge

The challenge for Bank Albilad’s website involves addressing both usability and accessibility issues, ensuring a seamless experience for all users. A UX audit would evaluate the current design, identifying pain points such as cluttered layouts, confusing navigation, and a lack of intuitive flow. The redesign would simplify the interface, enhance accessibility features (such as improved color contrast and font readability), and streamline navigation to make the site easier to use for everyone, including those with disabilities, while ensuring a modern and efficient user experience.

Millions in Saudi Arabia rely on accessible digital services, including those with visual, cognitive, or motor impairments. Bank Albilad’s outdated layout and complex navigation risk excluding these users. Improving accessibility is essential to serve all customers and reflect the bank’s commitment to inclusivity.
